Payroll Services

GEMS are a registered payroll provider in a range of countries within Europe. Together with the assistance of our network of professional host country associates we can provide a full payroll service, to include in-country registration, work and residence permits, payment of all fiscal and local taxes and social security to the appropriate authorities.

GEMS will arrange an interview with the appropriate associate to commence the required in-country procedures. This can usually be done over the telephone without the need for a personal visit. Once all personal information has been obtained GEMS will work closely with the associate to ensure full compliance and registration is complete in readiness for the contract. GEMS will account to you for all taxes and social security payments through monthly payslips and accounting schedules.

Umbrella Services

The GEMS ‘umbrella company services’ offer the advantage of still being a contractor with your own personal services company, cutting out the problems associated with company administration and regulatory compliance, leaving you free to concentrate on your work.

Your services will be provided to the agency / client through the umbrella company, and you can continue to use the umbrella even if you change contracts. You can take time out from contracting and come back to the umbrella company at any point.

You will only pay for services when working through the umbrella company, if you do not work, you will not pay, it’s as simple and easy as that.
